I'm Karen. And I love taking photos.

Gosh, it's never easy to just throw out there what I am about because like you, I have many layers of what makes me the person I am today. I am down to earth, relatable, and trust me when I say, I know the struggle to get in front of a camera. I try my best to make you feel comfortable during your session. I am passionate about Capturing images because growing up, I can remember looking through family photo albums and asking my parents questions about the people in those photos. It made me appreciate a glimpse of a moment in time of a Capture that connected me to those family members even though I was not there to experience it myself...you might say that is why I called my business Captures Photography.

I cannot image not having photos of family, friends, or anyone that means something to me or represents a piece of my history. So here you are, thinking "where do I begin", it can seem overwhelming to choose a photographer, knowing what to wear, picking the location, and praying all involved are in good spirits when that camera starts to "click". This is where I come in and am eager to provide you with the education and support in this decision. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for you and your family. You will never regret Capturing this moment in time with your family so you can one day look back, reminisce, and know it was all worth it.
