I'm Karen. And I love taking photos.
Gosh, it's never easy to just throw out there what I am about because like you, I have many layers of what makes me the person I am today. I am down to earth, relatable, and trust me when I say, I know the struggle to get in front of a camera. I suppose that is why I "get you" when you struggle with self-conscious feelings of facing that camera lens. My hope is to provide encouragement during your session to help you feel relaxed and Capture the best of you. I am passionate about Capturing images because growing up, I can remember looking through family photo albums and asking my parents questions about the people in those photos. It made me appreciate a glimpse from a moment in time to Capture a connection to those family members even though I was not there to experience it myself...you might say that is why I called my business "Captures" Photography in Idaho.
I cannot image not having photos of family, friends, or anyone that means something to me or represents a piece of my history. So here you are, thinking "where do I begin", it can seem overwhelming to choose a photographer, knowing what to wear, picking the location, and praying all involved are in good spirits when that camera starts to "click". This is where I come in, and I am eager to provide you with the education and support in this decision. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for you and your family. You will never regret Capturing a moment in time with your family so you can one day look back, reminisce, and know it was all worth it.
